In the heart of the Betuwe, surrounded by greenery, is our B & B location just outside the historic town of Buren. Our location offers peace and relaxation in a sustainably refurbished and renovated barn from around 1850.
It is a wonderful place in a rural setting. A beautiful location where you are outside, can gain new energy and can walk or cycle your head empty. There are many cycling and walking routes in the area. The location is along the Linge, at the Erichem clog path and halfway through stage 5 of the Maarten van Rossum path.
We have 3 comfortable fresh and stylish spacious rooms and a comfortable space for meetings and small-scale private occasions.
The site has a pear and plum orchard where you can relax.
Who are we
In November 2017 we received the key from Erichemsekade 10. We bought the house with the barns to make our dream come true; the realization of a B&B and rental location in the rural area between Geldermalsen and Buren. After 2.5 years of planning, demolishing and renovating, we have made our dream come true.
Who am I:
Jeanette van Veenendaal-Huijgen, married to Kees Huijgen. We have 3 teenage sons; Matthijs, Rick and Wouter.
I have worked with enthusiasm for over 20 years as a technical ophthalmic assistant. With this profession you are busy with people all day long. Working with people is the best thing there is. I am a real "people" person.
After 20 years I wanted to do something completely different, but with 1 requirement something to do with people. This location spontaneously came our way and I knew right away what I wanted a b & b and a small-scale rental location.
